Good post and I share your sentiments about Hull and Rovers players only being England players when they are playing for England.
Although I think it has turned out to be a blessing in disguise after what happened in the first half against Australia, I think Fox was unlucky to be dropped after one, IMO, indifferent game against Wales - with O'Loughlin as his centre and to a player who did little more against sub-SL opposition (if Fox's tries last night were easy T.Briscoe's out wide against Wales was a walk in). That said Briscoe was perhaps even more unlucky in what happened to him subsequently.
While Zod has done a pretty thorough job of surrending the moral high-ground, it has only mirrored alot of the rubbish written about Fox by [isome[/i Hull posters.

Best performance I have seen from Fox for a while, Glad he has got his confidence back, hope he has a good game next week as I am sure he has secured a place.

if you shoot out of the line you have to make the tackle, if you miss it they score, Fox missed so for me he was at fault because he left a 2 man overlap

Let's hope the aussies don't target his wing next week if his positioning for the first NZ try is an indication of his defensive abilities. Solid enough other than that but hardly vintage wing play

true, but he made a decision to come out and didnt take his man, other than that he did very well, cleared the line well from dummy half. cant remember him making a tackle TBH

His man didn't get the ball. He gambled and lost, but he had to gamble and the odds were long whatever he chose.

im not saying they wouldnt have scored if he hadnt shot out, they prob would have, im just saying if you make your mind up to come out of the line then you have to make the tackle or suffer. i thought he did well last night, 2 chances 2 tries and ran the ball back well all night

There was no line! He was the lst man with three Kiwis running at him from 20 metres out. Morley not sliding quick enough and the centre jamming in when not needed caused the problems. At times we do not seem to know if we are playing a sliding defence or a man on man and that is what is causing the problems when the ball gets shifted.

He did well, his work running it up from kicks was more impressive than his tries for me.
