Hi Andy
The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.
Regards,

| Quote: Dave K. "Again not the point, Dobson was still not good enough to get a game at a poor NRL team, still him comes over hear and is one of the best SH's in SL, it just shows the poor standard of SL compared to the NRL, that there reserve players are often the best players in SL.
O'Meley's form hasnt been great over ther last two years, but hasn't had teh best of luck with injuries, he is now injury free and should be here in the next couple of weeks to start training, if he he can recapture his form from a few years ago and have a bit more luck with injuries he will easily be one of the best props in SL.'"
2008 he had a good season.

'when my life is over, the thing which will have given me greatest pride is that I was first to plunge into the sea, swimming freely underwater without any connection to the terrestrial world'
Yves Le Prieur, the real inventor of the aqualung: |
|
| Quote: Jake the Peg "Rough translation"Oh yes it does because the difference is that particular player couldn't even get a spot warming the bench for a poor NRL team where as O'Meley has played over 200 1st grade NRL games, won a premiership, played in 10 SOO games for NSW and represented the greatest side in the world 15 times. And he's still only 28"'"
This could also be describing Berrigan and I know who has had the most influence in SL between that NRL superstar on god knows how much (I bet its more than Dobbo) and our 'reserve' grade scrum half.
Being 'great' yesterday is not the same as being great tomorrow, look at some of the superstar 'flops' in SL over recent years.

I'd let O'Meley play before describing him as anything.
Berrigan has been disappointing, thats down to other factors which i think wont be an issue next season. Im looking forward to seeing the best from both of them. It appears though that the rovers fans have already written off Fitz and O'Meley.

Fair enough. Youve got to admit though, his cv and Fitz cv and Berro's cv are all pretty impressive. If we get anything like their best form out of them next season we should be competing.
Anyhow, dont want to de-rail the thread, back to who you'd like for Rovers.

19862_1323383936.jpg This is Poorhouse Lane. And this is Neil, the rovers supporter who leads an exciting double life. For when Neil sponsors RLFANS an amazing transformation occurs. Neil is Cabbageman[/color:1y1okols]. Ever alert for the call no injury too small!

Any rumours, gossip or speculation for us?
Clinton and Kaufusi (sp?) both sound decent, but I don't know much about the NRL. Don't think there is anybody suitable available at this end of the planet.

Haven't got a clue, I read the rumours, but have always held the belief in waiting until the club announces that someone has signed before celebrating. The club have indicated their interest in Joel Clinton, so i suppose we know he 'might' be coming, but its gone quiet.
I cannot see us 'not' signing anyone else, especially if we want to maintain our position and try to progress over the next few seasons.

Good ball handling prop, would make a good squad player, but not unless he has all of a sudden become Welsh.
