| Quote: knocker norton "He hasnt offended me at all but as Daves post suggests I have seen him behave in a totally unprofessional manner not expected from a club CEO. His banter wasnt aimed at us but at a barman in Tavern who is a Hull FC fan.
As my rovers supporting mate said at the time NH's behaviour was 'totally out of order'.
Like has been said NH has done a hell of a lot good for Hull KR and I applaud the turnaround in the clubs on field performance under his tenure it really has lifed the great game in this city.'"
Exactly right.

| Quote: Big Dave T "In which case you are incorrect. (ive not seen him in tavern for over a year to be fair to him)
Im coming across here like ive got a grudge against NH, i really havent. For what its worth i respect the guy for becoming a succesful local businessman, i'm pretty sure i could stand and have a beer with the guy and have a decent conversation, from what you say i'm sure he's decent to his mates etc.
However, i dont appreciate him standing up on the stool on the Thursday in tavern before Cookie played his last game on the friday spouting his mouth off that tomorrow night was going to be Cookie last game cos he was leaving to join rovers. Un professional. Where's my proof? I know what i saw, there were about a dozen other people in there too that saw it that would vouch for it. Ask NH to deny that his behaviour that night was a little inappropriate!'"
And? I did the same thing at work my work

For goodness sake man, he is human and more importantly a fan with emotions and passion.
What he does in the cofines of a club or pub when not in his official cappacity, is his business.
Just because he is a chairman of a RL club, does'nt mean he cannot let his hair down now and then and act as any other normal fan would.
Some people realy need to get a life and stop been so pompous.

He reminds me a lot of Bill Kenwright at Everton, he lives and breaths the club and stood on the Gladwys St end as a small kid. Long may Hudges passion continue, rather him than Uncle Kath.

Guess you and I have a different definition of whats acceptable behaviour by a CEO of a club then. Its not professional, end of story. That was my point.
When did you hear about the CEO of Reckitts standing in a pub slagging off another company? They dont do it, its not professional.
This is the issue that you have with having a genuine fan of the club as the CEO.

Theres a surprise, Rovers fans prefer their owners/bosses, FC fans prefer theirs. Who'd have thunk it.

Yes. It's totally unheard of for a CEO to publicly criticise a rival company.
