Yes would indicate we'll be bringing in at least one more forward

He's been given game time and if he hasn't played well enough in those games who's fault is that??
He isn't the kind of prop Justin wants playing for us simple as. If you want success for Hull Kingston Rovers you have to accept that in todays game the Makali Aizue style prop doesnt win you competitions.
He is no Palliasina or Fa'asavalu as much as you might like to think he is, he doesnt play enough minutes and doesnt make enough yards or impact. When players try to takle Feka or Mauri they dont get up easily, when they tackle Makka they just get up as if they've tackled Netherton.

| Quote: Pumpkin From East Hull "Mills has not played in the last 5 or 6 games, Galea has got better and the wins have returned. Aizue would be 5th choice at the moment behind lovegrove, wheeldon, vella and fozzard on current form for me.
It could be because of the world cup that makka form has dropped off. He was poor against warrington in the cup, giants and quins (not the only one). He came back against salford in a scappy game. I'm sad he's leaving but thats the nature of the game. He's 31 and currently 5th choice (possibly 6th behind netherton depending on the games) prop. We need props who can play30 mins each half and i don't think makka can anymore.
Thanks for the memories, you helped get us were we are.'"
You are missing the point I think , Macca is an impact player Rovers now havent got one ! Just like Saints have Marie we should keep Macca . By the way I don't agree with your suggestion that he's 6th best. Netherton is not a prop will never make that position in his life, he's a second row. Morgan likes to think he can make second rowers into props. Granted Lovegrove is playing well be he ain't no prop, too small. When Vella goes off Rovers do not have any impact going forward.Wheeldon off the bench does not provide the same impact as Macca . So at the moment you can say Vella and Fozzard should start , Macca should of been on the bench all throughout the season with Wheeldon/Lovegrove interchanging. Netherton is behind these guys and I'm suprised he has been given an extension. Mills just get rid not upto standard.

| All this "Macca gives us impact....Macca does this......Macca does that" might have been true last season. This season he's languished in the reserves and hasn't done a good enough job to break into the first team.

He hasn't been given the game time I'm afraid . I didnt say he was like Pallasina or Fa'asavalu. He doesn't get the game time because Morgan pulls him off after 10 mins. Your last comment is a joke .

Welcome to the 1990's!!! Move with the times and realise the game has changed and Lovegrove is now big enough to be a prop and Netherton isn't there to attack but to defend in the middle while giving us a solid drive down the middle of the pitch. Ok Millsy doesnt do anything spectacular but when has he done anything to cost us a game? If he stays just stick by him (if Makka hasnt been given his chance by Morgan tell me when have you given Millsy his?).
Ask most Rovers players and they'l tell you they would rather be playing with Netherton than against him because the guys can trust him and he'll always do the hard graft. As someone that stands on the side lines you obviously dont appreciate theat part of his game.

I would not play Mills , just pay him offsaid a lot in the Hull Daily Wail but just embarrassed himself. I didn't know that you were that close to the players to come out with that statement, Netherton is a second row not a prop . The two best props in the game at the moment are Carvell and Morley , we shall see tomorrow night if they are playing how the pack stands up to them both . It was these two who turned the challenge cup game , we couldnt deal with them.

| Makali will be absolutely immense in the Championship, I'm sure he will become a fans fave wherever he goes.
I knew he was our longest serving player but didn't realise he signed in 2000!

Well maybe the one player I am close to said it but made it sound like a general combined comment that would be echoed by the rest of the players. Netherton is certainly admired by many of our squad that is for sure.
Do you honestly think Justin would sign a player without talking to his senior players first? He respects his squad and especially the senior players so dont think he makes these decisions just on his own accord.

So you heard it from one player then , the rest is speculation on your part .
Get back on track and let me know why you think its a good decision to let go the best impact prop Rovers have who hasn't been given a fair crack of the whip. Players who have performed badly still get picked , Fitzhenry , Walker , Galea to name a few.

By that logic, one would assume that he also speaks to his senior players before letting a player go, which is clearly absurd.
Do you think Justin consulted his senior players before signing Josh Hodgeson and if so why?
