Never trust an RL fan who dresses in such a fashion so as to resemble a humbug!

Funny how the majority of your fans have come on here and said different??
Course we got some decisions but not all of them, as has been said other weeks you will not any
To say it was the only reason we won is well

The season starts in October. Until then, don't panic!: |
|
| Good win tonight, although reading through the whinging on the Scouse board, you only won because Smith reffed
Big sour grapes over there!!! icon_smile.gif
Enjoy the weekend, and would hope one or two of you will behind Leeds on Sunday.

| great win for Rovers and for the competition as a whole- not because Saints lost but more competitive games are essential for everyone
No fluke about it either and if i was being harsh , Rovers should have had more points in the first half but didnt make enough of the great field position they had - testament perhaps to saints defensive strength.
The change of tactics in the 2nd half was a brave call but justified totally with Fox's try - and although Michael Dobson did play well and will get the headlines and yes got Rovers home in the end My MOM was Shaun Briscoe-
top 80 minutes from the lad both defensively and in support offensively - captaincy doing him no harm at all- and when Dobson did make a couple of errors , the captain was right there to chivvy him along.
wasnt a classic game too many errors from both teams for that but you couldnt take your eyes off it
and if anyone's interested generally first candidate for man of steel after only 3 rounds - Tony Puletua what a player- im sure Rovers fans would agree

Do you not think you are one of the slowest teams in the league was a factor?
Tough for Saints when they don't get free kicks to take 'em in the opposition's 20m area isn't it?

Gotta be ahead of Wellens for the four nations if he maintains his form - don't you reckon?

27608.jpg Motto of the week -
It is the way of the weak to secretly bleat to those in authority rather than fight their own battles.:27608.jpg |

| An incredible result is pretty much all i can say about it. Rovers performance wasn't all that great and there is still plenty of improvment to come. There was lots of spilled ball and both centres barely touched the ball, but again their goal line defence was pretty decent.
But at the end of the day its the result that matters in games like this and though i think Saints are in decline there won't lose many more home matches.
If they reach their potential Rovers could make the top 4 this season.
Also Briscoe is now Englands No.1 full-back and Fox deffo way better han Gardner.

"I've been rich & I've been poor. Rich is better." DLR: |

| With one or two exceptions I think most of the Saints fans have been very gracious in defeat.
I’m not sure this result is such a big shock though. Ever since we came up we’ve collected more points against the top six than the bottom six. Our problem hasn’t been competing with the big guns, it’s been our consistent failure to take points from some of the lesser sides.
