Quote Anakin Skywalker="Anakin Skywalker"True but there is a chance he is going to get a fair few booing him on Friday night.
Now although that isn't directly Mike Whites fault or problem there is the logic that what if this story isn't true [udo we conclude that Mike White was somehow responsible,[/u I personally say not but the point still stands that some folks belive everything that the tellybox, radio or 'paper' tells them and no amount of denials will change that and as such they need to start taking things as a whole instead of just jumping to the whole 'It must be right as mr 'x' said so' as some are doing in this case.'"
Not quite sure what you are insinuating here. Are you saying White could be held responsible because he's:
a) made it up
b) repeated a mischievous wind-up inappropriately although innocently but should have known better
or
c) is speaking the truth when he should have been looking after Rovers' best interests and kept his black and white gob shut?
As a journalist doing his job to find out and break news, only if case a) is true could he be deemed to have to take responsibility for an inappropriate action. Both b) and c) are actions expected of an independent newsman, surely? And in either case of b) or C) wouldn't Rovers be best advised to identify their prankster or mole to stop any future cases of potential nasty booing?
