Hopefully the RFL will now ask Sheens to explain his post match comments re, Austin. It was nothing more than a flop and didn't warrant a yellow card. The touch judge didn't raise his flag and the ref only got involved when your players surrounded him throwing there arms around etc. Poor form from your coach and players. Very poor.

Sheens never said that what Austin did was illegal. He basically said you don't get sent to hospital for nothing and that he may be sweating this week. Wind your neck in. Austin has a duty of care which was the reason he was sin binned. It was deemed that the sin bin was sufficient hence no further action was taken.

Sheens called it as most saw it. Warrington very fortunate Austin didn't get a ban. What's poor is Warrington fans saying Tomkins deserved his injury etc. Any team with Westwood and Hill on payroll can't take any moral high ground. Like I said earlier in thread the fact he hasn't been banned won't affect us at all so really it's just hot air. How Austin got nowt and Taylor gets 3 is just baffling?

It would have been difficult to ban him based on the video that was available. Unless there is another angle which I haven't seen. You can't see for sure whether his knee contacts the head and if it does it seems unlikely that it was intentional. There are a couple of stills which show Joel in a pretty vulnerable looking position with his head bowed low as he tries to get up. I wondered if the weight of the challenge forced his head into the ground and that was what caused the concussion. I'm speculating of course.

I think thats a pretty good assessment of how it happened,joel was in an awkward position and the pressure of austins tackle pushed his head down.
