No it's the initial 17 of the elite training squad. There's no wingers or fullbacks, so I'm sure there'll be more other than that 17 who will regularly play for england 'now and in the near future'.

| I'm sturggling to understand why this 17 man squad has been named. When it includes injured players and no players in certain postitions, you have to wonder why it's been named at all and what it's supposed to acheive 
Surely announcing a strong 25 which includes players like Briscoe, Fox, Hock, Gleeson, Lynch, Pryce etc... would have made more sense? |
