I certainly would not have been happy with someone telling me they had picked a different
colour because it blended in with the sky or the amount of toilets proposed were inadequate.
Surely there must be a basic formula for the amount of people in a stadium stand against

rovers' part of the build only amounts to about 25% of the overall value so why should they get a say in what colour it is? It really is a whinge about nothing and probably more aimed at getting money off for rovers ratehr than actually caring what colour it is. It's not as if teh rest of teh stadium is painted red

Maybe, but is there evidence of Mike Smith, for example, documenting his expectations in the meetings? Just as you were on the front foot with your build, the onus is on each party to pro-actively influence and monitor progress at every stage. It would be interesting to hear what specific considerations Rovers put forward at an early stage and how these were subsequently disregarded or over-ridden, then that would provide context for standing down.
