| So we now know he's signed. The scenarios are:
1) He's awaiting a visa with no drama. Appears unlikely given the speed at which other visa applications for this season have been processed.
2) He's been knocked back for genuine reasons and isn't coming. Unlikely as he has no previous convictions.
3) He's been knocked back for an administrative/form-filling feck-up and is having to re-apply. Surely unlikely that Rovers didn't oversee this properly, given FC's experience last year.
4) Rovers can't sign him until they offload someone. Sounds unlikely to me as the cap is live and I'm sure if he's signed for Rovers this would not have been without RFL sanction.
I'd guess 3. Any other scenarios?

| How do we know he has signed? I dont believe these newspapers especially the online editions etc. I do however think Rovers have played this one just right. Instead of announcing a signing they seem to be keeping it under wraps till everything is signed sealed and delivered. They obviously took on board the problems other clubs had last year.
Of those choices Mrs B i would go with 1 or 2. 1 is unlikely considering other Visa's have flown through but it is definately not inconceivable that he has a skeleton or 2 in his closet.

Was confirmed by Hugell in todays paper IIRC, so not just conjecture and gossip.

| Has Clinton Signed Yet ???? ..Pretty damm simple really ,if he aint signed for Rovers as they all say why would he still be training with the Broncos with their permission..at the end of the day if he was staying in OZ this training would never be allowed to happen..

Un beknown to you
Daniel Holdsworth the Salford Aussie signing for 2010 was voted 5th sexist player in the NRL in 2006 so Joel may be history once you see him
And in case anyone is wondering i was doing research for Sunday.

The Point is, at present he doesnt have a club and he will be keeping his hand in with fitness (its not as if he will be involved in game drills will it). Motu was training at Hull after he had been released.
The rest of the post is drivel

Mr Holdsworth is welcome down our tenny any day!
Got any more leads, GML?
