Fair enough - forget about it.
As far as the game went, the absence of a few experienced forwards shouldn't result in the complete absence of any attacking threat what-so-ever.
After watching the game back after I got in, Cullen said a couple of times that Keeting and Burns spent a hell of a lot of time trying to organise our young forwards but they were hardly any dummy runners or players hitting holes and we struggled. The responsibility for this lies with the coaching staff - CS has had the time and resources to deliver so now he has to come up with the goods or face the consequences.
You could tell Welham is starting to feel the pressure with his reaction to the chicken wing (that Finn didn't actually follow through with) but more notably his idiotic head-butt whilst we had the ball FFS. His crisis of confidence is forcing him to make even worse decisions than he does normally.
If Gleeson is back next week then he needs to go straight in to right centre and move Salter over to the left (Welham will probably be suspended anyway).
Lovegrove had a decent game last week but him and Welham were targeted as a pair on that left edge and they will continue to be until there's some personnel changes there. We're a second-rower light IMO and I think it may be worth trying to get Ferguson in if the Bulls go bust.
The only real positive was Caro's performance - he was our best player. I also thought Cockayne tried his best to take some responsibility of being a more experienced player by trying to inject some energy with his dummy-half runs but it's difficult to have a big influence on the game playing on a wing. I thought Larroyer played well too.

| Hi to all i often read alot on here without ever commenting but after coming home last night from what was a terrible performance and watching it back on sky didn't do it justice just how bad the performance was. I've often defended Sandy as we all thought his attacking plays were very good and just had to brush up n sort the defensive side of our game out but now it is just looking that his attacking plays are not good at all he just had Michael Dobson who controlled everything, I really believe it's time for Sandy to go and believe a better coach could get more out of this squad last night was a typical Sandy team performance and would like to ask this question to everybody would Justin Morgan do better with this team?

| I would have Morgan over Sandercock any day, never been a fan of Sandercock and thought he should've gone when Hudgell seemed to be close to getting rid last season.Im sure he's a great coach and is great with younger players, but maybe not a first team coach in charge of tactics.

| No defence. No off loads, no dummy runners, no kicking game. it was all too easy for Cas. They were a man down and all we did was throw a single forward at them. we are clueless, leaderless, but I wouldn't say effortless.
the blame has to lay with the half backs IMO who couldn't organise a up in a brewery. I think what makes it worse is how well Walsh has settled in at Saints but Burns has been here long enough to know what's required.
CS spoke about improving us defensively over pre season but nothings changed. we panic every time the ball goes wide.

| Caro impressed me last night,he seems to be finding a bit of form.Eden was just Eden, brilliant and shocking in equal measures! I think we need Hall in the starting line up for another kicking option and we need our forwards to stop getting stupid bans!

| It's all well and good bringing in lots of 'aggressive' forwards (suspensions will feature heavily this year), but what about our backs. We must have the poorest back 5 in SL, I doubt any of them will get into any other SL side. Eden has not learned anything at all about fielding kicks, he was responsible for many of the problems last night. STOP LETTING THE F@@@ING BALL BOUNCE WHEN ITS ONE A 12 YEAR OLD COULD CATCH. Welham needs to go, how many more times does he have to fly out of the line creating openings before someone deals with the problem, I can only assume he is told to do it. I know it's early, but with performances like that we have to worry about the reduction to 12 teams come September. It might time to look at Sandercocks future, but who would replace him.

Calm down, the debate on here seems sensible, its not others fault your team is underperforming.

| At the time,we could've had ex GB coach Brian Noble who has won everything with Bradford, turned Wigan around, and even got the Crusaders from no hopers into a playoff team,or an unproven assistant coach.
As normal,the Aussie accent won.

| We have a good set of players but not a team. That is down to Sandercock. He should be set a target such as 10 points aftef 10 games otherwise get rid so someone else can salvage this possible train wreck of a season.
Then again, was it 2008 when our away form was better than home?

| Who do you think would do a better job? Noble or Sandercock? Would someone like Mark Aston be a ridiculous appointment?
