| Wonder how much it would cost to apply graphics similar to the West Stand? That looks totally transformed now. Can't be £400k.

Dear old Syd. Always good for a laugh, but he does need to get out more often.

| The blue looks quite good I think. red looks tacky IMO and, as has been said, looks rubbish when it fades. None of your other stands are completely red so I don't see the problem

To a large extent I agree. As mentioned a while back though, are the towers still going to be red? It'll look odd if they are, or rather bland if they're blue.

Or not...

| The other thing to bear in mind is that the primary use for the build is business units and they need to convey the correct image.

Gone. Ever since Hudge smacked him and the rest of the council in the face after they stuck out their necks so far so they could pull the stops out with their teeth to help Rovers get their stand. Hadn't you noticed?
Phil and his fellow councillors have maintained a dignified silence since. Wondering if all those guarantees they underwrote will still be met, perhaps? Or just wondering?

Hudgell mentioning the "A" word won't have soothed him. Rovers owe the council a cool £2mill for the stand at least, don't they, with the Hull taxpayer underwriting in the event of inability to repay?

Seems like value for money when compared to the £10M farce witnessed yesterday.

Indeed. And if the Allams were to follow through on their offer/threat to hand over control of the KC smc, the taxpayer will be stuck with its rugby-related losses too. Best case then would be we stay solvent and you go bust.

The SMC should be far better off with City in the Premiership though. Might turn a profit, even. The council went into the underwriting business at Craven Park with eyes wide open and despite Rovers poor credit rating. Odd risk governance, but there it is.

| The cladding was never going to be red, it was the block work which was red on the plans, but this was changed due to the much higher cost involved, and as has been already mentioned the bulk of the building is a training/education facility that enabled the funding to be obtained, and so has to look suitable for this purpose. As for the £400k, that must be right if it's come from a councillor, right?

That's assuming Hull City stay at the KC.
Total money for promotion and parachute payments is about £140 million.
I think the Allams threat to leave the KC could become a reality if the council do not sell
him the KC.
Danger looms.

So you are saying that either:
1. City will have planning for and will have built and be playing at, a new stadium shortly, or
2. The Council intend to gift the freehold of the KC and surrounding area to the Allams imminently?
Which one?
And let the record show it was a Rovers moderator who chose to derail from the topic of the North Stand at MS3CP to Hull FC's tenancy arrangements.
