A bit strange the visa delay. He has no "previous" as far as I know and the deal was reportedly done (i.e. "advanced talks" held and release agreed) 10 weeks ago. Administrative error?

I'm quite glad now that Hull FC decided, to use Hudgell's words, "to sell the fans short by announcing signings early" and sorting all this stuff out on our new signings in a timely manner.

Personally I don't believe that Cooke has not been offered to Crusaders. Where have I said I believe that Hudgell intends to leave his position at Rovers? I have said I think it could be a "create a bit of worry to then have a positive "Hudgell here to stay - hurrah!"" story. Which is arguably borne out in your happiness that he's "still" talking on behalf of Rovers. Ben Galea has until Sunday to take the field. £5 to the Haiti fund if he doesn't (not that you need him really for this game)

Its still a bit strange, his agent says he has signed and has a visa, Morgan denies even his signing and now Hudge says he has signed but his visa is delayed.

I thought the visa process was working better this year, up to now there have been no problems with the new players coming in this year.

I had to laugh when I heard Man City had got an instant decision on a player today after all our aggro with Crocker last year dragged on for months.

Crusaders seem to have got half a team through the system pretty swiftly, and I'm not aware of any major hold-ups elsewhere.
He's big, strong and (according to Mrs B, whose judgement I am for once happy to defer to) handsome. He has won a NRL title.
