| Very bad day at the office again. Poor defence, no spark in attack, some shocking refereeing decisions. At least Micky Paea put him self in the shop window.

Joking apart, in the 2nd half we deserved everything we got, Leeds were much better around, the problem was that the damage was done at half time as we went in 20-6 down, when a fairer reflection would have been evens or maybe a slight Leeds lead, which was directly the result of appalling reffing decisions by Hicks. I give up all hope when he refs us, he did the same at Cas last season, looking for ways to give penalties.
What amazes me is he can see a slight infringement on the last tackle 30m away, but cannot see 100 offsides, many forward passes and several clouts around the head. The bloke is biased and a joke.

He is from Leeds and does train at headingly so I'd say a bit biased

He probably wouldn't dare. Don't forget Red Hall don't like criticism of their people. Was he as bad as others are saying??

Normally don't criticise a ref for the odd forward or offside if it evens itself out but today's performance was as bad as it gets in the first half. He did the usual even things up a bit in the second half but the game had already gone.
I think the club should say something. I am sure the fans would have a whip round to pay the fine.

| I don't think Hicks was biased, he just isn't up to reffing at this level but what can you do?
The speed of the ruck was the slowest I've seen since a NL1 game back in 2006, a really poor spectacle.
The RFL ought to do away with the in-goal judges and use the spare officials to have 2 refs.

Awful. I admit when we have been beaten by a better side and Leeds were better, but Hicks (as usual) was well below SL standards, he doesn't look fit and that is why he maybe miss so much, especially forwards.
The RFL bang on about 'respect' for officials, but in my book respect is earned and not dished out for free. Hicks lost what little of my respect he had last season when he engineered a comeback at Cas when we were leading by a big score and he all of a sudden began calling some outrageous penalties against us.
The one that angered me was a shoulder charge slap bang in front of him and he waved play on, but the linesman ran on waving his flag and he had to give us the penalty.

No, he was pressed a few times but just said Leeds were too good.

He made a series of howlers in Leeds favour in the 15 mins or so before half time. This opened up a big lead for Leeds when the game had been pretty close, 2nd half we weren't good enough to pull it back.

He was never close enough to witness any forwards
