HULL KINGSTON ROVERS is my religion, Craven Park is my church and Jordan Abdull is my God: |
|
| Well seeing as though he said SLs only true stadium why would I need to go and look in Doncaster or Brisbane??

| My mistake on that part then, but i would still like someone to explain how others arnt true SL stadiums?
Just because it goes all the way around doesnt make it a true stadium, Is the point i was trying to put forward.

| I understand the "enclosed" part, but that isn't in my "true stadium" definition. You could argue that a "true RL stadium" would be one where only RL is played there, which tends to rule out most of the modern stadia in the country, as they are almost all multi-use these days.
The KC on derby days is a splendid sight and the atmosphere is up there with the best. However, from a view point alone, I prefer the DW, due to the rake angle of the away end affording you a better view. Just personal choice.
And as a traditionalist, give me Wheldon Road over the lot of 'em!

| I understand it if thats his angle, but i still cant come up with a way were that would justify it to be a "true" stadium.
Out of the "newer" stadiums i would have to say my personal choice is HJ (Wires) because its up todate but still has the traditional feel with seats and standing.
DW has a great view (the best in my book)
It all goes on personal choice i suppose but for me, Craven park isnt a stadium, KC isnt a "true" RL SL stadium as it has football in it, so does DW.
So for me it would be HJ, as a stadium.

I didnt know that but its not Liverpools ground is it, anfield is; The KC is Hull Citys ground & DW is Wigans ground. (im not saying they own it, im saying thats were they play there 1st grade home games)
International football as been played at Old Trafford doesnt mean its not Man Utds ground.
The main game played at the HJ is Rugby League - KC and DW have RL and Football as there main sports.

fair enough i was just pointing out that the hj isnt exclusively for rugby league in fact quite a few modern stadia has had other sports/events played there.

Edited for accuracy.....KC isnt a "true" RL SL stadium as it is football stadium that has rugby played in it. ("rugby played in it" used very loosely by the way)

The sparrows had all left with 20 minutes to go, must have been a snail on its way to the exit.
