Okay - so the non-fed list and quota lists are, contrary to many people's (including mine) assumption, seperate, each with their own limit of 5.
You could
theoretically have 5 non-fed and 5 quota, as long as nobody counts on both - before any exemptions.
For Rovers (possibly!) -
quota
and non-fed... Clinton, Dobson, Green,
quota but not non-fed (here for 2008, but no passport)... Webster and Galea (plus the 3 above = 5).
non-fed but not quota - Mason (plus the 3 q and nf = 4).
We could then theoretically sign another non-fed but non-quota player.
Newton, Fisher, Vella presumably have passports and were here for 2008. Lovegrove qualifies as club-trained.
To help out Hull FC, my best guess -
quota and non-fed... O'Meley and Fitzgibbon
non-fed but not quota... Moa and Lauaki.
so 3 spaces for players who are quota but fed-trained (an unlikely combination, excluding 2008ers). 1 for a non-fed - irrespective of whether he is quota or not. Manu is fed-trained (2008 ruling).
That was a toughie. Still, sorted now. When does he arrive?
