I personally use photoshop, but all Windows systems have a programme called Paint. If you go to your start menu....All programs....Accessories....Paint....
I've done a vid for you which should help, if you need further instruction just let me know and i'll post instructions.

I'm a luddite and just squeeze and crop them in powerpoint and then save as picture to Mrs Mild's 'my pictures'. One day she'll wonder why she has jpgs of the rebel alliance symbol from star wars, the poster of They Shoot Horses, Don't They?, The Hitcher from the Mighty Boosh, Jonny Sacramone, a bandwagon, Praveen Babi and private Godfrey.
