I doubt that.
Johns has said in the past that the only English club he would link up with again is us.

Hmm. Not sure how much faith you can put in that - Jamie Lyon also said he'd only ever come back to Saints.
On the other hand, it's true that Warrington have big cheque book waving facilities and Rovers... don't.

| Andrew Johns will do master classes with any team who wants to pay him.
He's done it for half the halfbacks in the NRL and even the Wallabies and the South African union team.
He doesn't work for the Knights anymore because they have Andrew Dunneman as halves coach and Matty Johns as consultant this year.
Matty Johns is actually a better coach than Andrew. He did a wonderful job with Cooper Cronk and others.

Another article from this morning's Newcastle Herald.
Basically says the Knights wish him well, but think he was ideal for the role of overseeing the coaching staff of our junior squads and will be hard to replace - also a bit about Andrew Dunneman still looking for a job.

| Looks a decent coach, the only thing that worries me is that we may only sign 1 more player on top of those already signed,is this bloke a miracle worker because he will have to be if we only sign 1 more player.

Thanks for that Roopy. It helps put to bed the rumour circulating that the Knights didn't want him. Even the BBC have reported that he wasn't offered a job under Wayne Bennett. Clearly that wasn't the case.
This is a bit of a gamble by Rovers, given his relative experience, however I really hope this bold appointment is as succesful as our last coaching gamble.
