Quite a few ladies i have spoken to are going along to see Olly who dont normally attend games so the indications are good that it was a good booking by Rovers.

I agree it appears to be a good move which will attract a few more, however I think the thing that will bring them back to future games is what happens on the pitch and the overall experience of the fan. |

No it wasn't. In the very short term yes. But, think about it, booking Leon Jackson 2 or 3 years ago (whatever year he won it) might have seemed a good idea at the time, but if we used him now it would not add any fans IMO (as he's finished ). As a community club I think they should be doing all their can to help local aspiring artists, imagine how much it would mean to a band usually playing to 20-30 people in Red Lion to getting to gig in front of 9000. 
Sorry for the rant guys, just feel strongly about this. |
