Did you get rid of all the voices in your head? Do you now miss them and the things that they said?: |

Would imagine so.

Chester has learnt from the best 'Sandercock'! There'll be the usual spin of, he's '50/50, every week and 'nearly ready to play', only to see him sat in the stands from week to week. Hope I'm wrong, but I'm getting very cynical in my ageing years.

| Don't shoot the messenger, but there is a post on twitter claiming Rovers are looking at josh Drinkwater as a replacement for Campese who will have to retire. Reckon it's rubbish, but maybe his injury is worst than the club are admitting?

I have just read it again, it doesn't say retire, maybe just for the season.

Maybe he could car share with Lopini Paea.

The question was put to Chris Chester last night regarding the injury and he said reports saying that Campese has cruciate ligament damage were untrue, however, they would have a clearer indication of when he may be ok to play again after they have spoken to a specialist today (Friday)

| Sounds ominous to me, especially if the quotes in the HDM from Chester are accurate. The bit about it could just be bruising but TC thinks its worse sounds like a long one.
Bottom line is we'll have to go with Kelly at 7 and probably Blair at 6 which I am far from impressed with. I'd rather go with Marsh at 6 and allow Blair to play his more suited role in the SR. Blair looks to slow and pondersome in the halves to me.
Don't see how we could bring in Drinkwater or has the overseas rules been completely forgotten about?
This could be a bit of a disaster going into the middle 8's with an undersized pack and a lack of our captain and main playmaker.

I reckon we may hear something on sports talk a little later today, hopefully it wont be as bad as it sounds.
Funny things knees, I once injured my medial and it took about 4 or 5 weeks to heal, where as about the same time a close cousin of mine thought he had done the same but it turned out to be just a strain and was back playing after about 3 weeks.
I'm not sure who I would like to see replace Terry Campese if he is out for a while but I'm of the same opinion as you, I would rather see Blair stay in the SR and look at other options for TCs replacement

| Given the luck or lack of it Rovers players have had with injuries this and past seasons.you tend to fear the worst .
Let's hope it is an injury he can recover from within a short time

| Looked fairly innocuous and didn't he walk off? Surely if it were something serious he'd have been carried off. Although I don;t want you to do well, I enjoy seeing good quality players in SL so hopefully he isn't seriously injured and he's back soon
