For what it's worth, I think the top 4 finished as it should. I'd have loved Rovers to have finished 3rd but Hudds have gotten the better of us twice this season.

The record needs to improve. But winning major semi finals and getting on the big stage is something we are getting better at.

To be fair Huddersfield deserved 3rd place and not just because they beat us twice.

We sneaked ahead of them mainly due to the 2 losses they suffered just before the Cup Final.

They deserve what they got and they will be a force in the play offs too I feel.

We seem to have been acused of arrogance and smugness on this thread. How wrong you are . We are still getting over an inferiority complex after years of failure and disappointment.

Most of our fans including me are just waiting for us to fall flat on our faces and only a piece of silverware will change that.

What we do have in abundance is confidence we are going in the right direction particularly after our best league performance since 1959.

I would love to play you at OT and think we could win. But win or lose i would be happier with two teams at the final who are not leeds or saints.
