30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

My older son loves Roald Dahl books, I've just finished reading James & The Giant Peach to him, we're starting The Twits tonight.
I was a milk monitor at school, well I was until Maggie Thatcher stuck her beak in. I loved that milk, always served at room temperature & it had a thick layer of cream on top. I later went on to be a register monitor & Ill never forget when I reached the dizzy heights of being in charge of the dinner money tin.'"
You're thirty two, surely you're too young for school milk?
I never got to be any of that sort of thing at school.
Was a shepherd with one line in the nativity and then I got chucked off that for hitting Daniel Stott with a stuffed lamb.
"Danny The Champion Of The World" was my favourite Dahl (until Sophie, obviously) although I did like "Tales Of The Unexpected", I once tried to snare pheasants in Burton Constable woods by putting raisins in little paper cones with glue around the top.
Unsuccessful.
Full of anecdotes today me.
Mr. Huwbert, my brother in law is as hairy as a gorilla. His step dad, Alan has flowing white hair. For some reason he's grown it quite long. looks like Jimmy Saville.

It's the second line of the chorus.
Just had a memory rocket - Sex Drive by Tricky. Amazing song. Can be found on a popular video sharing site.

How gormless. I must have listened to that track several hundred times.
I actually prefer the version on "Maxinquaye", although I'd say it took me nearly ten years to get into that record.

I'm 33 and I definitely remember it, unless I was carrying empty milk crates around the classrooms. I also vaguely remember watching Larry the Lamb.
I always wanted to be Mary in the nativity. Being ginger I inevitably got stuck at the back behind a gaggle of angels, I did get to be a sheep once, that was good.
My favourite Roald Dahl books were Boy & Going Solo, never really got Tales Of The Unexpected. Did it have a shadow of a lady dancing at the beginning of the programme?

I like it when rich people spend ridiculous amounts of money on everyday things & it turns out to be something like this. I wonder if I could use the Guineas poo for anything?

You can smoke it.
Went to that "Menistones" place, was made of brick.
My day for stupid people, a partner organisation asked me to see someone. I need three bits of information to do that, they've supplied one and then seemed surprised when i range them to ask for the persons telephone number.
What am I supposed to do, go round on the off chance they're in?
Reckon roopy's up this late because he's got food poisoning from eating too many Yabbies.
My other poster theory is that Mild "Denzil" Rover is a scientist at The National Space Centre.

I'm up because i've just worked a week of night shift and i can't sleep tonight.
I haven't had yabbies since i was a kid, because you have to catch them by mucking around in mud holes - but you just gave me an idea - i'm off down to the lake to catch some prawns - might as well since i can't sleep.

Not really fishing - you just shine a torch in the water, wait a few minutes till the prawns move to the light, and scoop them out. The hard part is boiling a pot of water to throw them in.
OK - i'm off - see ya.

Good shout, there's a few MoD sites in Leicester that employ a whole wealth of boffins, he could work there. There was a protetion outside the other week, 50 people congregated outside chanting "you build drones, shame on you", they clearly mix up the UK drones (which are solely surveillance drones) with the Anerican ones which have the capability to fire missiles. The majority were Asian, the rest were elderly people with flasks, deckchairs and leg-warming blankets.

Worm Person?
"Pyjamas" is a perfectly correct description of one's night clothes unless one happens to be wearing a nightie. In that case you'd refer to your "nightie".
Beware of pajama, though.

Yes. I thought they were sinister programmes when I was a child. My favourite was the one about the bloke with the Old Master tattooed on his back. He was a tramp and mysteriously disappeared. Soon afterwards a brand new picture by the artist appeared on the market....
Ever since I have coveted a tattoo of a still life. I want some pieces of fruit, a bit of cheese and maybe a claret jug but I want it to look like a painting and not a tattoo. Can't find anyone to do it. Was going to go to that Nettie at Lucky 13 but she's moved to Scotland. Anyone know of a really good tattoo artist?
