Agree about Campese, class, but there must come a time when you have to think about your future health, and not get busted up for a few more games.

does anyone know or has heard anything concrete how long campese will be out now.. cos if its end of season i am afraid i would ask him to do honorable thing and retire.. also for warrington game we should have mantallato back that what it said before he should be back for warrington game that will tighten or left side and sio will be back..

I think we will be lucky to see Manto before the 8's. Don't think his arm has healed as well as expected.

A lot of posters on here belittled a poster when he claimed Campese wouldn't play more than 5 games aswell, they'll no doubt have forgotten who they are though.
Time for Campese to do the right thing and retire IMO. Great player in his day but it doesn't look like his bodies upto it anymore unfortunately.

IF we stay up we canot go into next season in the hope he'll be sorted after a preseason. He won't, he either needs to retire or we pay him off. His injury isn't unlucky it's inevitable as it will be again. Shame but as said above we can't be sentimental. We binned Webster for less and he did more for us than TC ever has.

I am not slapping myself on the back because I called it. But it was quite obvious after the first hamstring injury he was a goner.he could have been great now we'll never know.

I was one of the few who agreed,wish he had done the honest thing like mick weyman and retired,the guys body is knackered but our powers that be couldn't see it,been far better to get him into some form of a coaching role at the club.
Hes gone for the season according to the club,as I posted before we offered josh drinkwater a contract till the end of last season and he said it wasnt worth it for 6 months,now he is starring for leigh,and how ironic it would be if he helps send us down while terry sits and watches.Still he has become good at sitting in the stand,a season and a half practising for us.Its not his fault he keeps getting injured and a class act when on the pitch,but canberra knew he was knackered but we couldnt see it.

really bad news for you guys and your fight in the middle eights you had better wrap up Kelly up in cotton wool for the next 5 games and unveil him for the end of season cause if you lose him it could be curtains for your super league survival and I'm not winding you up there I'm serious they make your team click, your forwards are not far off championship material anyway and although you have some useful backs when fit, they need a good link player as all teams do

Trouble is you wrap them up and go into the 8's in a losing mindset and risk further injury due to lack of match fitness. Tough decisions need to be made, ideally getting someone else in..

He has to chuck it now unless he is in the coaching set up IE assistant coach to ever is coming in if any one is coming in( anybody know any body to remove the curse on us )
