Can you imagine putting faces on season passes. They struggle with the basics as it is. We have to give ours to the turnstyle operaters now at the KC to scan it for us!!!!

Love the idea of gigs at CP. Problem is I think we'd face a similar dilemma to KC - the only acts who would be guaranteed sell-outs would be too expensive to book, so in the case of KC you end up losing money on acts who aren't big enough anyway (eg Blue), or were in their prime but that was 25 years ago (eg Simply Red). Great idea in theory, but in practice very tough to make work I imagine.
Was chatting the other day and somehow Hull Vikings came up. Have to say although I'm pleased with our huge progess since 05 / 06 I do feel sad that the Vikings were arguably a victim of it. I couldn't and never would knock anyone for not supporting them when they needed it as I only went to Vikings meetings around 95 / 96, but it's a real shame that there's no longer speedway in Hull because for a period it was huge and (it has to be said) drawing more people to CL than we were!

The Vikings only drew about a 1000 fans even when they were at the height of there success

So if speedway does come back, does that mean the north stand will be demolished

Yep, and as they'll be doing the new figure of eight type Speedway the pitch will also have to go.

Won't be too much hassle though as most of died anyway because of having those breathable mats down for the boxing.

The pitch always looks pretty decent from the stand but when you get on it it's terrible
