| Quote: Jimmy Carr "That will have away fans queuing up for tickets next time......
There is a thread on the Saints board about fans not going because of the view, I suspect this is felt throughout SL.
I can just see Hudgell sat chuckling whilst the fans take the mickey about coming all that way to not be able to see, but yet wondering how much potential lost revenue it causes.
Of course they will be flcoking there when the new stand is finished.
Good win though.'"
And this weeks winner for the most sour grapes in 1 post goes to Jimmy Carr.

| The more I see it, the less accidenatal it looks. Wouldn't wish injury on any player, but you can't help think that karma can be a real biatch at times!

[quote="The Reason":3e09qe5x]Hi Andy
The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

I don't understand why people say it was.
He swung a stiff arm in his face.

| Just watched again. Gets worse each time. Should be a long ban, even thought the injury will keep Smeli out for a while longer.

Yep when the term 'Banjoed' is used that is the type of shot it means.
Horrible every time you see it andI do wonder if that is what the little inserts on the shirts are to protect against.
I don't see how anyone can think it was accidental as Craig neither changed direction or speed just before Meli banjoed him which is why head highs are normally committed. Instead he just lined him up and hit him that hard that he dislocated his own elbow on Craig's head.

| Not sure if was malicious or just stupid, the manner of this looked bad but I thought the Gardner one on Welham and the Wilkin one on Dobbo were more cynical. Davies trying to justify it on the beeb was laughable, the 'winger has to stop the centre' and 'Gardner's not like that' are hardly reasons to say a shoulder into the head is legitimate.

If the rfl are serious about the new shoulder barge rule then they have to start setting examples starting with Wilkin and gardner . Having only watching the game once I cant remember much of the gardner one tbh but the Wilkin hit on Dobson was shocking . Why couldnt silverwood go to the big screen to look at point of contact ?

They will both probably put an early guilty plea and cop a measly 1 game ban each ... The system works
