all the bull about bringing the youth on is exactly that, the kids coming through are products of the morgan era.

I've defended Sandercock to the hilt until now because he's had some very difficult circumstances to deal with since his arrival.
Some of our attack is top-draw at times hence why we're the best attacking side in the league so far. I also think Sandercock has assembled a very good young and promising squad with some exciting players; some of whom are coming on in leaps and bounds.
Our achilles heel though is our poor discipline and poor resilience in defence and even though they are not coachable factors, it can't be ignored that they are both trends concurrent with the current coach.
A first team player told me Sandercock has much better ideas than Morgan and is a better coach but he said that Morgan struck fear into the players so maybe they felt less at liberty to give away needless penalties with getting shouted at.
It has come to the point now though, that our players have to understand that unless they switch on for full games, then the coach they respect so much, will lose his job and it will be their fault.

Agree 100%. Plus Sandercock would probably walk if Hudgell undermined him by even suggesting another coach to help out. Keep him on his own or get rid. Unless Travis Burns is literally superman I think it might be the latter. |
