The abuse starts at junior level by some adults, I have seen parents laughing at kids when they get injured and shouting at the kids from the touchline, we should all abide by the respect programme but some don't know the meaning of respect.

Its the same everywhere mate,I ran a junior football club for 5 years,the amount of abuse from some opposition parents was truly appalling.We were not supposed to say anything,but sometimes I couldn`t help myself. |

No need for that eh, think I read ages ago about a game getting abandoned because parents were going so far OTT.  Just let the kids play the game fairly ffs. |

as much as I enjoy yanking your chain roofs.......and I do enjoy it, every club with more than 3,000 fans is going to have idiots like the ones described here. It's how the club deal with them that counts.
The RESPECT campaign needs to be enforced and if that means that you lose 50 or so "fans" then so be it...I am sure you'd have no problem replacing them with familiy groups.
Stewarding seems to be the main problem......maybe paying for an extra 10 coppers to be there for a few games might help. As I have said, I have had a run in with a drunk 16yr old HKR fan in the past, but I don't think the rest of you are all the same.

I can`t figure it mate,someone pays their entrance fee,then spends the rest of the time gobbing off to opposition fans rather than watch the game.Ask most of these prongs what happened on the pitch,and they wouldn`t have a clue. |
