| Quote: Gavin Miller - Legend "Well summed up.
In their haste to burn Hudge at the stake and throw me on too they may have missed the fact that i never condoned texting whilst driving.
I am fully aware that the loss of concentration whilst driving can lead to accidents.
Im assuming these people never change a CD then which can also cause an accident.
Its not something i do as a matter of course i do its something i said i have done in the past.
Reading a text ive been sent.
What that has to do with being a mod on here god only knows.
Perhaps behaving like adults whilst posting should be compulsary for some if its a moral crusade they want and they want to set a good example.'"
Changing a CD's not a criminal offence though, and that's for a reason. The fact is Hudgell has previous convictions for motoring offences and runs a firm that bankrolls Rovers out of gaining compensation for victims of them. Yet you still just give an "it could happen to anyone" style shrug of the shoulders. I assume you would have been similarly apologetic if it had been James Rule who'd been convicted with "previous"?

Yepoffensive material."
Where do you draw the line between what is offensive and what is not? I daresay the families of a victim of an RTA whose driver was using a mobile phone would have a different opinion on that to GML. I, personally, find any flippant disregard of the trust placed in the people who drive 2 tons of lethal weapon by those drivers themselves offensive. Be it by deliberately speeding, drinking, using your phone or any other flouting of the driving laws in force to protect us all.

Kids, mods are not role models! unless you want to be a mod when you grow up I suppose. I expect they are mostly arsonists, fraudsters and drug abusers (which in no way affects their excellent management of the moderation process, of course).
You're right there!

Apologies. I'm sure James Rule looks forward to similar levels of support from you, should he ever commit multiple driving offences.

Again your assuming id be interested in James Rule's life.
I think some FC fans dream of Hudge nightly as they appear obsessed by him.

No, you're better off with mods who allow a thread to run about the shameful brick throwing incident 29 years ago, posted with the pure intent of stirring up animosity between your fans and ours.

| To throw oil onto this troubled fire, is condoning something better or worse than having done it?
On the Hull board Paul M admits to having been caught driving while using a mobile phone. Do Hull fans think this compromises his ability to moderate? I don't.
There is a limit, but this isn't even close.

Actually, although not a specific criminal offence in the same way as operating a mobile phone is, you can get done for operating your car stereo while driving if Plod so wishes. I know of a couple of cases, in fact.
Driving without due care and attention covers a multitude of sins.
