Some of the best dishes are made from the cheapest nastiest bits of animals. Fergus Henderson's book, "Nose To Tail Eating" is brilliant. You need to know some very good butchers to get the stuff though.
Great restaurant is Henderson's place, St. John, went last year for my friends birthday, there were about twenty of us, brilliant night.

How true.
I've never heard of this Fergus bloke, though I will certainly buy his book. Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall is another advocate and of whom I am a huge fan. As also is, apparently, Craig Fitzgibbon, who by all accounts has a little smallholding on the go here in Britain, and is at this very moment (as he is sadly injured again) probably draining his pig into the black pudding bucket.
Of course, that most famous area for exquisite food, Rome, is also famous for it's rluse of offalrl in the most imaginative and sublime ways. An excellent novel I have read which bases it's story in Italy and explores it's regional pabula, is Anthony Capella's "The Food of Love" which adds in aphrodisiacs to the delectable mixtures.

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Aye, Ms. pmh, sorry I mean, Ms. Softcock has read that, I keep meaning to read it. As Amazon have still not delivered book two of a series I'm reading I might dig it out.
Haven't been to Rome for years, must make the effort again.
The Florentine's do fabulous things with tripe.

Oh, nearly forgot.
www.amazon.co.uk/Nose-Tail-Eatin ... 034&sr=1-1
I see from Amazon that there's a second book out, he's just opened a hotel off Piccadilly iirc as well.
When we went we started with roasted bones and pork rillette's. You scoop the marrow out of the bones and then spread it on toast and season/garnish with salt pepper and a bit of flat leaf parsley. Sublime!

My adverts got more views though and therefore more potential listeners for the sponsor.
Do you think Roverswall will like my new name? I hope the weather's cleared up a bit for him. We had a holiday in Cornwall a few years ago, lashed it down all week apart from the Sunday morning, only went on the roof terrace we'd specifically chosen the place for once.
The house was about three hundred years old and got a bit damp and musty with all the rain, set all my allergies off and it took about six months for them to all calm down. Not the best holiday that.

| Really can't stand next doors kids, horrible little creatures. Unfortunatley for me my kids seem to like them. The older ginger kid is ok I suppose, but the 3 younger ones, no.

| Right here are my options decided to go a bit feminine:
LindyLou...Bit boring my name is Lyn and it is an old pet name! not keen
Martha..I really like the sound of Martha
Elsie...I love a bit of gossip, could suit
Vera...I like that one too.
Not sure what to do I like being a bitch but Berro is long gone now, it is time to move on..
besides I love Manu now...

Seeing as you're so keen on the alliteration angle, what about "Manu's Mother? You're the right age...

Oooh, another one to add to the permissible lexicon.
We've got, in alphabetical order:
Arseholes (and presumably -related derivatives?)
Buggery (ditto)
FFS
Fartface (and other words with the stem "fart"?)
Prat
Can I make a respectful request to add "Crap" (in lieu of the more literal word beginning with "s"icon_wink.gif in honour of that most commendable of plumbers, Thomas?
As there has (as you can see) been no filter-dodging in relation to the above, I am hoping you will say "yes"?

Not at all sure about "softcock", I'm afraid.
Like BB's new name. May jump on the bandwaggon.
"Fitzies Flirt"? But looks like he's going at the end of the season.
Feely O'Meley? Like that, makes me feel happy.
Amos'sArse? No, would go into a daydream every time I posted.
Whiting's Bait? No alliteration, though....
