CS has gone with Charlie/Welham in pre-season and I can't see it changing even though I think Disco is far more effective on the left.

My mate Bonsey is staying tight lipped on how Travis fared in his fitness test but I think Craig will do a good job if Travis doesn't make it.

IMO todays game will be a brutal forwards battle; it brings Poore face to face with Bailey, and I am sure Weyman and Peacock will be wanting to get one over the other. There's also a bit of history between Josh and Aiton. Bring it on !

The big question today is how will Buster go in his debut SL match. I haven't seen anything as yet to suggest he is going to take SL by storm but by his own admission he has been gently easing himself in. A lot is expecting of him today so good luck to him.

I'm going to jinx it all now by predicting a narrow Rovers win and Charlie first try scorer.

I seem to read this a lot these days, that most teams in Superleague believe their forward pack is better than ours. Just what is this based on exactly? Is it league wins? No can't be that we've finished within the top five for the last 10 years. Is it cup wins? No can't be that we're one of the most successful sides in recent years. Is it in terms of meters made? No can't be that we made the most meters in the league last year.

It's amazing how we've ever won anything, with all our average players it seems. Especially with our starting england captain and most successful captain ever linking up with the superleagues top try scorer at halfback.
