IMO the sponsorless shirts (e.g. junior Liverpool, City etc) look better then the ones with sponsors - more of a retro look.

Going to be difficult to find any isnt it. Doesnt mean its incorrect though. I'd heard 50k from someone inside Rovers. Still, might be wrong though afterall Hudge has said 6 figures.

Its worth way more than £50k believe me. Its the second largest shirt sponsorship in Rovers history despite it only being for 1 year.

Would have to be the Lloyds TSB deal for 2007/8, I'd guess, as the last time we were in the top flight before that a parnt o' marld cost 70p an' a bottle of red wharn were one narnty narn. Possibly.
Unless adjustment has been has been made for inflation.
Not a massive amount of competition, but if it is more than twice (per annum) what a pre-bailout L-TSB were paying it can't be too bad. £100k minimum, despite some of the disparaging remarks.
Edit: just noticed GG said [isecond[/i biggest - so ignore all of the above.

| I believe last seasons deal with Parasol was worth more than the previous deal with Lloyds TSB.
The new combined shirt sponsorships for 2010 is the biggest in Rovers history, and in the current difficult financial climate the club (and Paul Lakin) should be applauded.

If it generates cash for the club and means more likelyhood of progression and success then I couldn't care if we look like Lewis Hamilton running out for the 1st game of the season at the Asda Craven Park.

| Quote Uruguay="Uruguay"Aston Villa also do it, they have their local charity ACORN on their shirts.'"
iirc, Villa do it as their main sponsers went bankrupt last season, and no one wanted to replace them, then they just kept it.
And Barcalona have had unicef as their sponsers for years.
