| Quote: craig hkr "Weve earnt a few kind words over some attacking rugby but tbf the losses are adding up. Warrington (full strength) Saints minus a centre and a nut nipping winger.Tonight Wigan who whilst missing few forwards look very strong followed by Saints again? Then I think its Leeds? Even the most one eyed troll must take that run and feel a little sorry for us?
The heavy loss v Salford consigned to the never happened file due to a win versus Huddersfield reserves and a likely win tomorrow against Wolves with no pack and no doubt Old Trafford back in the cards? Again it's the nature of the draw and a team can only beat what's put in front of them Of course 2 points is 2 points but to act Billy Big Balls over us losing against these top sides is a bit churlish. Smith seems happy enough with the efforts and with no relegation it's less important for now. Saying all this i would indeed welcome a good performance combined with a win'"
Great win last night to move you closer to 2nd bottom. As you chose to mention Hull and the so called "Billy Big Balls" churlishness I'd just thought Id jump in. No Hull fan I know believes that Hull will get near to Old Trafford. It's a myth created by HKR fans as this pseudo-arrogance gives you something to feed off purely and simply because it makes you feel a little bit better.
Hull have perennially under-achieved and probably sit 5th / 6th in the rankings over time and we gladly accept this. I can also appreciate the angst that comes with following a team that used to be quite good, hasn't had a sniff for 35 years and bases 80% of it's recent "success" on occasionally beating a team that sits 5th / 6th in the rankings.
Must be tough...

Not really. I dislike FC you dislike Rovers. That's fine but i dont feel the urge to go on your board after defeats and rub it in. As the Rider said during the week you give it and take it. Tbf it's the other 2 who do it most

Jamie Ellis Returns To Leigh Centurions For 2021
Leigh Centurions are delighted to confirm the signing of experienced half-back Jamie Ellis from Hull KR for the 2021 season.
It will be Ellis' second stint at the Club having had a memorable season under the management of Ian Millward in 20

Howdo Budgie. Hope you are well? Bit ironic Ellis gave us his best performance last game for him v Saints. Hes a steady away half back who will do a job behind a decent pack but you know this from last stint. One of those players who maybe is a bit underrated?Thinking of his time at Hull Cas and us. Bit like Tommy Lee. He must be doing something right to get contracts playing our glorious game. I wont lament him going but wish him the best.

Agreed, just after that the club announced we had also signed Blake Wallace from Toronto, so we will have a superb championship 'half back' pairing for 2021.

No, it was created via direct quotes from your Chairman pre-season. He either believes it’s going to happen or he was playing season pass salesman again. Could be both I suppose.
I know plenty of FC fans who bought into the hype (again).

Club Chairman in “my team has a chance of doing well shocker”! Maybe if Hudgell had created the same hype at any point during his tenure, he might have made enough cash to stay or even increased your fan base and season pass sales.
All Hull fans that I know are well aware of our deficiencies including: Shaul, Bowden, Fash, Houghton, Masi, Lane, Houghton, Fash, Houghton and our captain...
A large crop of players are just not good enough.

Apparently until Tony Smith jumps ship? Dont know Last but he comes across as a good fella just think that job needs a real disciplinarian and weed out the lazy half assed rotten apples. This Woolfe fella looks the real deal.Dont think players would take liberty with likes of him.Not my problem but if Last wants to keep his job then its probably time to get a bit nasty with ringleader/s.
As for us it seems our policy of young mobile predominantly UK forwards Smith has put together may suit the new rules? One good win doesn't mean much in isolation but you can see what Smith is trying to do.
