| Quote: chapylad "Not sure how FC fans can take the moral high ground over Bailey being a thug and a coward when they have signed Leon Pryce.
Bailey on his day will do a great job for you.
He can also do the minutes on the pitch and as mentioned gets under the skin of the opposition.
On a bad day he can go missing.
McDermott at Leeds did not give him the game time and time away from Leeds might just be what he needs to kick on.
Anyone want Kirke?'"
They take the moral high ground because they are Hull fans. It's what they do.

I'm not taking any moral high ground. Why do people of low intellect feel the need to turn every point into a comparison?? I am not a Leon Price fan. I find his off field history to be abhorrent. If we was discussing Price, I'd tell you this. However, since Leon Price is totally irrelevant to Ryan Bailey being a coward - it's a moot point.
Funny I didn't meet any condemnation on here when I posted how I think Kelly and Sio are great signings!

| Probably a very good deal for all parties involved. I think his race was run at Leeds, and a move will freshen him up and do him the world of good. You've got yourself a very good prop, and it will certainly add some spice to our trip across on the opening day of the season!

You have gone to great lengths to point out you are not trolling, so please explain why he's a "joke" signing. Without knowing what terms he's agreed to, and how he will perform, I'd love to hear an "intellectual" assessment of the term "joke" when used in the context of signing a prop.

| Quote: Tigerade "A great signing IMO. I would have loved Cas Tigers to get him on a deal for a couple of years. As someone else has stated - he knows how to get under opposition forwards skin - a great trait for any prop and as experience in many finals. You will certainly get more value in game time out of Bailey that Poore.'"
I think in the opinion of most RL fans they would rather he was playing with their team than against them. Leeds fans, who watch him far more than most, seem to rate him highly.

| He could go ok, or he could be 2015's Jamie Langley.
I'm not quite as positive as I was before lunch. You were warned.

It`s what we do.
We make comparissons all the time to make a point or defend one.
My point is how can you say he is a thug and a coward when Hull have signed a similar player?
Fair comment that it is nothing to do with Pryce the signing of Bailey but it does feel a bit rich when you can come on here slagging him off when you have the same type in your own team.
As for low intellect.
You have that one wrong too.

| Let's face it. It won't be hard to match Langley's and Poore's playing stats from last year combined!
Great signing tho, just what we needed, a big nasty house prop.

| Quote: Errlee Berd "The 2009 game v Saints would be a decent example. Sticking a cheapshot elbow on Fa'asavalu, then later running 20 yards sideways accross the pitch to avoid Graham.'"
Not only have you gone back half a decade in an attempt to find an example of him being a coward and a cheapshot merchant, you're completely wrong as well. It was his shoulder, and he didn't run 20 yards sideways to [iavoid[/i Graham, he ran sideways to [ifind[/i Graham. He got pushed back 10 yards granted, but that's a different matter.

| In the 2012 GF a group of Wire players forgot they were playing in the biggest game of their careers and went chasing Bailey whilst Leeds were scoring the winning try

| Considering what is available on the open market props wise it is good business for Rover Especially if Weyman is not coming back I heard he has not renewed his lease on the house he was renting so it is looking more likely he is not back for 2015 or can anyone enlighten us on the subject?

| Quote: SirStan "Lets hope it turns out to be a good move for both parties. Direct replacement for Poore, if he plays 8 games in 2 years its also better value.
It bolsters the pack without using up a quota spot, so despite my reputation as Mr Negative, I'm beginning to see positives in this signing. I will be buying him supper at this rate of progress.'"
I agree with there Mr N. Decent signing in this market I think/hope. Especially with roopy saying there's a dearth of props over in Aus. Maybe look at a quota hooker now?
