I got instantly banned, as I used this username.

You'd have tried to join with a free email address like Yahoo or Hotmail.

And webbed feet.
Thought Kevin Brown was the difference for us today, steers us round well and a decent kicking game. Like some of you have said you made a lot of unforced errors and we capitalised on them.
I thought we might have had one eye on next week, but Betts has been holding Joseph and O'Carrol back for a couple of weeks before giving them a hit out today, also thought that Burns can be a great player for you but tends to get too embroiled in the niggly stuff and loses a bit of focus.
Cheers for a decent turn out again today. THM.

Did you get rid of all the voices in your head? Do you now miss them and the things that they said?: |

Brown played very well and Rovers didn't appear to have come prepared for this. We somehow appeared to have forgotten what he did to us in May. Having said that, Gordon Brown could have played at 6 for you yesterday and still looked the best half on the pitch. We were poor in the 1st half and decided to sit in the dressing rooms for the 2nd.
An away following like yesterday (1000+?) deserved better.

| Up to a couple of years ago I went to every match, home and away, France included and even did the preseason friendlies, last couple of years I've still gone to a fair few but this year my enthusiasm has waned to virtually nil. I was in 2 minds whether to go or not yesterday but in the end the lure of saving £100 won in the end. Must say its about the only thing that I can say I enjoyed about the whole day.
I had to endure the match on RH, to be fair Pinkney does a reasonable job but once Gwillam comes on its basically a guessing game of where the ball is until someone scores even tho you imagined it was still at half way. At least I knew all the haircuts by the end of the game.
As for the game, as I didn't go I'm going off what was said on the radio and it sounded awful, there is no excuse for a lack of enthusiasm in a crucial game yet thats what came across. Our last tackle plays are non existent, Keating took a lot of flack for this but surely a big chunk of blame must be leveled at Bunrs as well. We just seem to be so dumb at times.
The season is gone as far as I can see now, we are probably the 2nd worst team in the league in terms of form at the minute and I can't really see it improving a lot in the next few weeks. A lot of players need shipping out and I think a new coach with new ideas is a necessity. NH said he had til the end of the year to impress, well short of winning all 4 games I think he's failed that objective.

I blame Gwillam for costing me £80 yesterday. His London commentary was so abject that I had to go to Widnes so I didn't have to suffer him again. The season ended 26 seconds into the 2nd half. If the players can't be bothered, neither can I. KK was appalling, but he certainly wasn't on his own. Welham is easily the worst centre in SL right now and needs replacing, fast. Eden, well, he gave an "Eden-like" performance. Occasional brilliance in between the brainfarts. I don't see us winning another game this season, and I've already shelled out for derby tickets.

Funnily enough the Gwillam factor is usually a big part of what forces me to attend away, or at least give the consideration. Can't see Welham being a starting centre next year, really shouldn;t be a starting centre next week. When was the last time he played well?

2012 prior to his break against Catalans.
He's always been a turnstyle, but he was a try scoring turnstyle before. A lot of people put his change in form down to a loss of pace & confidence due to this bad injury. I think it's more down to not having Dobson & Galea putting tries on a plate for him any more.

100% correct IMO. He's not very good when you take away his try scoring exploits.

| Not quite sure it's as simple as that tbh.
Yes, his defence has always been his big weakness and his high try ratio his strong suit. But in between this, he more often than not had decent hands and good yards in him as well.
Some of his loose carries and general unforced errors have been pretty poor in my view this season.

| Just seen the tries on the SL show. welham was pathetic. Is he being binned or something? Total lack of effort from him
