I'm a Wakey fan and I didn't think he was a liability. No real disciplinary record in Australia to speak of. Sure, he can fight but who wants a prop that can't?
My view is that he just struggles to come to terms with the different reffing style/interpretation in the UK and has the odd brain fart.

I liked Poore he ran it in hard and tackled hard no fancy stuff but as said did the odd brain fart but I think that comes in their DNA. He'll give you guys 100% just like he did for us!

whilst actually playing I've been pretty impressed, runs hard, tackles well, one of the few to get the runner on their backs and puts in a good few minutes too. just no good on the sidelines

For what it's worth my wife is a wakey season ticket holder and she's glad to see the back of him, as are her mum, dad & brother. She's probably the most vociferous about it though and called him a liability with the unnecessary penalties putting his team mates under pressure.
The big hard an act is ok for a while, but it gets annoying when you're stood behind the sticks because of it. |

If you read the thread about Poore on the Wakey forum, at least one says he was a liability, whilst at least two more are gutted he isn't playing for Rovers as they were looking forward to him giving penalties away.
They have replaced him with much better cheaper English prop.
