| Don't worry your beloved Black and White side are very upset. They are touchy been nilled by Widnes.

| Ugly win but at least it's a win. Bradford didn't offer much in attack though.
Keating getting better but Charlie should have been MoM. He was popping up everwhere.
5 players held up over the line is very poor. Tells me that they aren't running with enough conviction.
If we play like that next week, Wakey will turn us over easily.

| Finally a win, although it doesn't feel like much of an achievement against a squad down to their bare bones and losing 2 players in the game. Happy with the defence, you can only stop what the opposition throw at you even if that's not much. With that amount of ball we should have scored a lot more, Bradford were dreadful and although im pleased to get off the mark im not confident we have 'turned the corner' or anything of the sort. Jury still very much out, next week is another massive game for us and CS.

| Cockayne had a cracking game, head and shoulders above anyone else on the park! I was hoping for a lot more from Langley, had him as my one to watch at the start of the season, just seems to be plodding along in an unspectacular fashion but singling him out is wrong, plenty of players under performing.

| Plus the lack of dummy runners was embarrassing at times, passing a ball along a flat line don't fool anyone, it's down to a lack of fitness in my eyes.

| Costigan,Poore,Langley...i'm just waiting for them to do something!
Wheyman had a decent game,Keating,in the first half, seems to be getting better, but Cockayne yesterday was very good.Sandercock has got a decision to make when Edens fit.

| Think Poore put in roughly 30/35 mins in his first spell yesterday, all pretty dull. Plus who was it who got put in report in the second half, some mentioned Poore around us but I wasn't sure?

The ref spoke to Burns, but I'm sure that was in his capacity as Captain. I suspect it was Weyman, although Carlile was involved in the same tackle. Either way, it's likely to be a 3-4 game ban for both of them based on the RFL postcode lottery.

| Obviously from the East stand it was hard to tell what actually went on in the tackle but for me it looked like the Bradford player got up ended and dumped on his head. If that is the case, then someone is going to be missing the next few games.
Another small point that annoyed me yesterday was the poor kicking from Keating after a penalty, making 15m just isn't enough.

Yeh, it looked like 'player' possibly went above the horizontal and landed neck/shoulder region. That said, it was so low down, it was impossible for any player to correct it, once it happened. Don't think the genius Hicks saw anything in it until the player showed signs of injury.
Given the total forward domination and territory, 3 tries was a disappointing return. Obviously the weather played it's part but as others have alluded to, no dummy runners or guile at times. Little pop up passes to the oncoming forwards was at best a little predictable in the end. Although Bradford offered next to nothing going forward, I thought their commitment to the cause was top notch. Especially when you consider losing two larkers in the first stevo stanza.
Kicking, yes I'm sure in the first half he didn't even make 10m. Even Webbo with a back wind could muster 12m.

Dobson rarely got much distance either, it seems to be a Rovers thing.
