I think bit of a waste potentially leaving seats empty and hoping people buy a season ticket. Very risky.
I would have thought it's worth people buying single game tickets and making sure they want to come again

Exactly. I find it astonishing the match is close to a sell out and yet people are still moaning.

You will get very few that buy a season pass this late in the season. I could be wrong but I reckon they'll have held back tickets in the 10's and 20's not the hundreds. Rovers seem very clued on commercially this season and certainly won't shoot themselves in the foot. This move also forces people who can't afford a season pass or don't fancy one to go and purchase a ticket for the east stand. Would be bad I think if a fan wanted to get a season pass last minute and couldn't because the stand they would like one for was sold out, he'd only get 12 games instead of 13 in his chosen stand.

Hull FC have a legally binding contract that makes the SMC buy 1500 season passes from Hull FC every year. So I don't think your in any position to comment about the Sentamu academy buying 1500 South stand tickets to give to there pupils.

Loads of tickets for a quid + Archie academy have loads free..if you go in krs shop & say your from east riding you get a ticket half price...& pass holders take a mate for next to nowt...hudge as not been desperate to fill the ground for your 1st game as he??? Lol

You will find out my friend that 10 thousand are paying customers, 1500 are tickets paid for by our sponsorship with Archbishop Sentamu Academy.
So in answer to your question, all will be paying customers. Good business by the Hudge don't you think?
