You pay to hire it 13 times a year and even then only at times when the grass doesn't need re-seeding.
You are unwanted squatters.
When Mr Allam gets his way and you are out of his stadium you'll be back to the Gateshead merger days of looking for a handout, slumming it on benefits street.
Rovers with the security of a 99 year leasehold actually get paid for stadium naming rights and all other incomes from the stadium.
The KC is no more 'yours' than the KC Lightstream would be if the leaseholders (Rovers) took rent off you 13 times a year. And don't rule it out - when Allam gets his way you'll be pretty desperate.
All this 'Hull Tigers' stuff is just a smokescreen. All he really wants is ownership of the stadium, something Hull CITY council ..repeat Hull CITY council refused him. Any idea why he wants to get rid of the name CITY ....and who it is really directed at? Sooner or later he'll get what he wants (the stadium) and his plans don't include you lot. |

Are KC pulling the plug for the naming rights at the KC stadium and so that could be why they have sponsored CP? so then the stadium will be called The Allam stadium or The Allam arena??? when they take up the sponsorship?? Gives you some thing to think about doesn't it!!!!!

I think the Allams are too smart to throw them out. He will just make it too expensive for them to continue using it. They cannot afford it as it is. Even with the help of the SMC buying over £100,000 worth of season passes. They will leave on their own accord.

I can't say im a fan of stadium sponsorship but it's extra guaranteed income (providing they pay up) so you can understand why we and most others do it these days.
