| We have had 5 years invaluable service from probably the most influential import into super league, he has helped establish Rovers in super league & been a credit to himself, club & competition. He has got what he wanted a NRL contract & he deserves it. Thanks for the effort & very good wishes for the future, he has shown how players who are not considered good enough down under can come here & remake their carreer lets hope we find someone who can grow into his hard to fill boots (It would be nice to find one in the local park). Lets give him a good send off & finish the season on a high.

| With his Newcastle contract only being 1 year, do you think we have attempted to negotiate a 1st option clause should he want to return to SL?

| Can anyone explain the obvious error on Sky text RL page where Dobbo "explains" why he is glad he's signed for Hull FC, is whoever's in charge extracting a certain bodily fluid from HKR ?

Don't think it would, only way would be if he went on loan.
I would hope that we wouldn't need him back in a year, big hope I know

| It's a pity you missed Luke Walsh. He has a ready made combination with Burns and he will be good in the ESL.
I'd love to see Ryan Stig get over his medical issues and get a start with you, but I think he has a freak injury (blood clot in the eye) which looks like ending his career.
The Stig was a brilliant young halfback who would be Newcastle's starting half now if not for bad luck.

To be fair, sky and the bbc's news ticker regularly get RL stuff wrong and refers to the wrong hull club

| Devastated.
I'll miss the balding ugly little get.
Best scrum half we've had since Paul Harkin. I don't think it can be counted the amount of games he's almost single handedly won us over the years. It became a standing joke that the man of the match award be renamed "Dobson Of The Week".
I can only hope that he tears it up and achieves everything he wishes, he hugely deserves it.
I'm struggling to think of an overseas signing in recent years that's been more important for their club.
Thanks for everything Michael, you've been absolutely fantastic.

| I haven't seen FC fans so jubilant since they won the cup in 2005. They'll be getting the open top bus out next.

| I think he will do a year over there and then back to super league after his year in NRL he's never made it over there, different style to super league which has never suited him his lack of pace and defence his biggest problem, can see him signing for a super league club for 2015 season, he will be impossible to replace at your club as he has single handed kept you in the top half of the league he is the heat beat of HKR, but Rovers seem to have a real nack of finding gems who no one as herd of so the search continues as I am sure KR will have known for some time, but with three of your top players leaving already pass sales will take a knock next year which makes it even tougher Hudge will have to dig deep again

| Is he going over there to play second fiddle ? On a one year deal if it doesn't work out I wouldn't be surprised to see Dobson wash up on these shores again.
