Well, Hudgell has as much as said he's been bankrolling this sort of player for the last couple of years. I hold out little hope for McDonnell, but 20 errors in 18 games is better than 47 errors in 24. I'm sure with Sandercock's ability to transform young players, like Uate for instance, these deficiencies will be ironed out.

I don't know, but as you imply his huge deal is probably unwise. In Arundel's defence, though, at the start of that 4 year period he was 17. In comparison to his 39 games, Eden, Caro and Brown between them have managed 40 SL games combined in the same time period. And they're all older than Arundel.

Interesting to read that it was Walkers aggressive style that impressed CS, add to this I seem to remember the coach looking forward to the aggression Travis Burns will bring to the team. Obviously this is an area he saw us lacking in last season, it would be nice to think we might not be quite the soft touch we were on occasions, all the best teams still have to have that bit of edge to their play.

Adam is a very good promising prop forward in the Chris Hill mould and given chance may well play at the same level.
