Cant believe whats going on at Rovers its like being kicked in the guts again. 2012 will go down as a very bad season. All we need now is Ben Galea to score the winning try for thunder next season in the grand final, and i think its humber bridge time again. The whole world seems to be flocking to the kfc.

The money will be the primary factor here as F.c are treating it as confetti at the moment. But as you say, knowing what he knows about our divide, and hes willing to take that leap. Good luck to him, but the great player he has been in my eyes would be tarnished for this betrayal.

What a load of crap being spouted on here today. Talk of betrayal etc is nonsense. The guy lives in the area, wanted to play an extra year, Rovers didn't offer/agree it so why not go to Hull for a year. The guy has more to think of than a few narrow minded no-marks. In doing this he is keeping his home and avoiding uprooting his family for the sake of one year (a little more important to him than your or my feelings). If you value what he has done at HKR and respect the guy then let him do whatever he wants with your blessing.

Ben told me that he rejected the HKR offer on the basis of it being a single year and he believed he had at least two in him, I would be interested to see what length of contract Hull have offered, if that's where he is off.
