Your post does though define Rovers' aspirations. Hull KR just want to be the better team in Hull. The definition of a small club mentality.'"
Judging by your post you're the definition of a complete idiot.

That no one has picked up on the substantial loss of revenue and financial implications to the club from not making the play offs (not done and dusted yet I know!)
I am sure ill be corrected if I am wrong but I believe all monies are split 8 ways all the way to the final (even if a team gets knocked out in round 1). The final is split 50/50 between the finalist, less the RFL taking their cut off course.
I have no idea about any additional Sky revenue but just on gate receipts that's got to be well over 200k in lost revenue?! That's surely going to put a dent into next seasons spending money!
I'm not his biggest fan but thought Hudge spoke well on the radio today, honest and frank. I would not be to worried about him walking though, although I think he would walk tomorrow if he had someone to take over from him. However, him being a fan he'll stck it out!'"
you're almost there, all the playoff gate receipts are pooled and shared out among the eight but on a pro rata basis with the teams getting a bigger percentage the further the go in the play offs, so it is a loss of revenue but if a team goes out in the first round it's not as big a sum as you'd think.

Totally agree, Bradford should be left to sort their own problems out, didn't see all this hand wringing when Wakey were in trouble. As Hudge says the rule clearly state that administration means loss of licence, so why not just strip them of it?

Your poor response and lack of a counter argument suggests that deep down you know I'm correct.

| Quote: red al "he's bang on with his comments, why should he and the rest of the board plough their hard earned cash in when the rfl are intent on keeping a dead bradford side going, bank rolling london for the good of the game and flogging a dead horse to death with crusaders.'"
London are bankrolled by their owner. Although he's said that won't continue indefinitely.
The Bradford situation is a tricky one. The rules as they stand don't allow for a team to be automatically ejected from SL just for going into admin, and removing a side from the competition mid season creates all sorts of problems anyway. I can see why assistance has been provided to keep them going until the end of the season. It's how they're dealt with going forward that will be the real test. Despite what people think, they are far from certain to be playing in SL from 2013 onwards.

The rules do not state that administration means loss of licence, otherwise Wakey would not have been awarded one. The rules regarding administration were changed in the run-up to the last round of licence applications. Now the loss of licence is an optional penalty.

the thing that gets me about bradford is that they didnt have enough money to pay this months wages but turned down a bid from warrington for bateman i can understand why they didnt want to sell but the RFL should have forced there hand instead of caving in

Thank you
Yes.......
a, Attendances are to low to spend up on the cap next year.
b, Top earners not worth the money they are paid.
c, CS will get a chance to prove what he can do when he has all HIS signings next season.
d, The Bradford situation is a joke and the RFL are bending the rules to keep them in SL.
c, Supporters can not complain about performances next season because we are blooding kids.
e, The new stand has started!
All in all, he has made me think very hard as to weather getting a season pass next year is going to be worth the money!!!
Between Hudgell and the RFL I am staring to loose faith in our sport, sounded like Hudgell wants out to me!!!

| Far be it from me to praise Gwilym Lloyd, but, aside from shirking asking about Taylor, I thought he did a very good interview, as did Hudgell.
Hudgell was honest about the fact Rovers are at full cap and not getting value for it. I did get some sense though that Sandercock will be under pressure to deliver next year, "he'll be backing himself", I think was said.
Some sympathy about his view on Bradford, but ATEOTD the RFL will take strategic decisions for the bigger picture rather than apply consistency. It sucks, but it was was ever thus. Don't get the 12 clubs argument though, unless we'd get additional fixtures. For the record, he laboured the point on injuries and lack of key player availability. Seems these do have an impact, then.
There is a rumour he will hand over the reins next year, and his last comment didn't fly in the face of it. That'll be 10 years, I think? Could be a good opportunity to inject fresh investment, but he'd be an incredibly hard act to follow.
