I maybe totally off the mark, but I was reading through the RFL website the other day (i'm great at parties) and the only rules over fed/non fed/quota rules I could see were over passports and eligibility to work in the uk.
They maybe somewhere else, rules have gone from the sl website.

Just had a glance and I think it is confusing because the quota rule is in section C (Personnel) and the fed and club-trained rule is in B (Competitions).
I'm wondering if all these dodgy dating and bought-bride sites I get adverts for on here are based on my posts rather than my browsing history. Would make sense on a couple of levels.

| Wouldnt be happy to see Green leave but if we can get a big fee from Wigan plus possibly one of their young players in exchange then i could stomach it if Burns is as good as i think he will be in Super League. Would much rather see Mika make way though and Green move into the back row but money talks i guess.

Burns to the back row would be better.

Can't see a big fee for Green, tbh - good player, but non-fed, probably on a decent wage and a few injuries this year.
Because Burns won't be cheap, I'm assuming it'd be Paea or Green to make way. The latter like for like or 6-Burns, 13-Green and Lovegrove at prop.
Mika is still only 22, so I'd hope he'd still be improving next year. But, being honest, he's probably number 5 on our non-fed list currently, I'd agree.

With regards to Blake Green i dont know anything for certain but i suspect neither does anyone else, unless of course they are board members and privvy to such information.
I heard about half a dozen different rumours on Sunday in the HP bar but how much sustance there is to any of them is anyones guess, the problem is, some people are hearing little snippets hear and there and then putting 2+2 together and coming up with 5, i do know one or two people who know a little more than most about affairs of the club but i've not heard them say anything about Green going to Wigan, not as yet anyway.
Like i say, i would'nt worry to much about what the darksiders have to say as its mostly guess work on their part or simply feeding off the rumours of others, so just wait and see would be my advice, im sure we will know a little more come this weekend and then 2+2 might just add up to 4.

So you know both players salarys? Quite impressive for a bloke whose track record would suggest that he knows nobody within the game.

| Travis Burns would be a good signing but he will not bring any silky skills to the team.
Blake Green at 6 shares the playmaking with Dobson which is a good thing and something Burns cannot provide.
Burns would bring a fierce determination, energy, aggression, big hits, in your face style and 100% commitment every single game. Opponents would be sure to know he was around. He does of course have his discipline issues he is the most penalised player in the NRL.
Green is a far more natural No. 6 though. Burns is one of those players who only knows one way to play no matter what position you put him in. For me his all action style is more suited to 13.
As others have said someone would have to leave for him to take a non-fed spot. If that player is Green then I'd have mixed feelings because we'd be back to Dobson being our only real creative player.

| Just watching a TV show called 'the game plan' which has a segment called 'the late mail' where they give annonymous rumours a run - they just said Burns to Hull KR will be confirmed this week.
