Quote: SirStan "What would you define as "maximum advantage"?'"
An interesting muse and one which I've asked on our board.
I guess we first have to assume that Hudge has not been forced into this decision by not being able to offer Hull the minimum number of away allocated tickets now the CP capacity has been reduced, and is merely doing this for typical begging reasons.
If the former, then Hull should be looking to take revenue from all tickets sold over the new capacity (8500?), cut with the SMC and with no benefit to Rovers. If the latter, from all tickets over the old capacity (10500ish?).
You, as the home team would take possession of the best stand with it's corporate facilities for your use [iand [/ithe cushioned seats and one end. I.e., you'd have West, West Upper and North. That way, you'd maximise the 'away ' support and cause the minimum of logistical difficulties (tickets have to be sold through the KC ticket office so Hull fans would merely buy their 'own' 'home' seats anyway resulting in a mixed stand) and, of course, make policing issues easier.
Guess we also have to factor in how much the Egyptian would charge. No, no, silly worm, he's a Rovers benefactor [iand[/i has made clear to the people of this city his dedication to sports philanthropy in Hull, so he should do it free or at cost for his mucker.
You could have the "home" dressing room, if you [ireally[/i wanted it
, it's identical to the "away" one anyway. I believe the SMC already cream off the profits from any catering so there's not much to be gained there either.
Is it really worth it?
