| Quote: Mulder "I suggest you watch the Wigan match again on Hull Kr TV.
Don't you think it's rather a long way to travel(13,000 miles) for Kristian Bell or Matty Beharrel.'"
I have watched the replay and Murrell is not a 7 - he wasn't last season either - but I will say he looks leaner and fitter.
Sarcasm doesn't become you; the young uns will be back soon and I would go with either one of them. Justin made the mistake last year of not going with the young half backs (incl Lee). If he had of done we would have had a youngster with SL experience - perhaps a 'Lomax' in the ranks.
Murrell might well step up to the mark in a more familiar position, or even Withers who looked comfortable playing alongside Belly in the second half against Wigan. I am sure Sandy will try them both out on Sunday.

Judging by the Featherstone friendly, niether of the youngsters are ready for Super League just yet. Scott Murrell despite some of the OTT flak he cops on here is a good solid proven player ay this level and has seldom let the club down in any of the positions he's been asked to fill IMO.

| Very bad news, hope Blake gets well soon and as many have already said his long/short term health must be the priority
I wonder if this is an opportunity to see how close the new relationship is with NH and AP, loaning out Ellis?

Flippin 'eck, I hope not I think the kid is a revelation and I am hoping he can prove just as effective in SL as he did in NL1...
Personally I doubt the relationship is cosy enough to be loaning players to each other, although they maybe business colleagues I think they both understand the fierce rivalry between both the clubs, fierce rivals do not share players.

We're coming to make some noise!: |
|
| I've seen a few Sky games with Ellis in and I honestly do not rate the kid as highly as some others. Ok you don't win the Championship player of the year by chance but then look at Kevin Penny, good at one thing and gets raved about until he gets found out. Don't get me wrong for Ellis's sake I hope he does a good job and comes up trumps because it's nice to see players working their way through the leagues and appreciating their chances more than just being thrust in to a top sides first team. I don't think that has done Foster any good at Saints and it will come crashing down when he gets too big for his brightly coloured boots.
If we were to go down the loan route then maybe giving the lad from Featherstone a shot would be a good idea unless Leeds have him on their books? Ok that's unlikely as Fev probably won't want to release one of their best players but it might be worth giving them a call!
As has been said get well soon Blake and don't rush back, as much as we love watching you play, your health and well being for the rest of your life is more important!

I agree Scott is not a scum half although he made a pretty good job of it on Sunday, but isn’t the suggestion that he play at off half a position that suits his handling ability and defensive work. As for my comment about the two young half backs they are in Australia for at least 3 weeks. Jonny Lomax is almost three years older than Kristian Bell

| Big blow you and bad news for Blake, as others have said I hope he makes a quick and full recovery.
I would guess you will play Murrell there, didn't Galea play there a few games and do well a couple of years ago?
If you where looking at a young National League player to try out if Bell etc aren't ready I always liked the look of Ridyard (is this correct) the stand off from Leigh.

i Aggree that Withers may be a good option as he has apparently played that position before, we could then slip the guy we signed from Hudersfield ( his name slips my mind at this current time), into the hooker position.

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

What I do know is that if you keep clearly trolling sooner or later you will be on a short break.

Thats the guy, from what i've heard he looks a good player, could he be the answer at hooker, thus allowing Withers to take up Blake Greens position while he recovers?.
