I thought Hall had a good 1st game yesterday.

One thing I was encouraged with was that he had the courage to repeat a play (quick flick pass to Fox) which went into touch the first time yet it didn't deter him the second time and it came off perfectly (despite Fox not making the most of it).

I was also encouraged by the fact that when that 1st pass went into touch, the East Stand never made a big deal out of it and it's little details such as this that will give the lad encouragement that he knows the fans really want him to succeed; for three significant reasons:-

1) The nostalgia and link to his old man.

2) He was an ex-FC player so we want him to succeed to use it as amo against FC fans (specifically fans like me).

3) He has all the potential to be an international centre if developed correctly.

So far so good anyway.

Never really seen this lad play except for derbies and the odd sky game but obviously had Rose tints on and wasn't looking for him. After all the gossip about him being this and that I was a bit on the fence about him, having watched him play these last few week I have grown to like him, contrary to what we would be made believe, his defence seems more than apt and attacking he does look the business, I can see him causing all the selection heartaches he was billed to.

Has he played stand off at hull before?

I have always liked Hall mate,his speed if he breaks will nearly always end in a try,but his defence was suss,maybe he has been working on it.Hope he does well for you.

Like I said, Never really looked out for him to honestly say he was weak in defence or such but reading some of your lot pointing out his weaker attributes I've looked out for it, been good so far in a Rovers jersey.

Once or twice, and didn't look out of place IMO. But then I'm a fan of his.

His defensive frailties were exaggerated IMO, although there's no denying he did put in some poor performances. Didn't help that he was playing on our right side where our edge defence is suspect regardless of who plays there. His defence also suffers a lot when his confidence drops.

I'd be inclined to stick with Hall because he's had a good couple of games and if he doesn't play we won't have a goal kicker.
