Well summed up.
In their haste to burn Hudge at the stake and throw me on too they may have missed the fact that i never condoned texting whilst driving.
I am fully aware that the loss of concentration whilst driving can lead to accidents.
Im assuming these people never change a CD then which can also cause an accident.
Its not something i do as a matter of course i do its something i said i have done in the past.
Reading a text ive been sent.
What that has to do with being a mod on here god only knows.
Perhaps behaving like adults whilst posting should be compulsary for some if its a moral crusade they want and they want to set a good example.

I'd disagree with you there. Like everyone else a mod is entitled to his own views, especially when it comes to matters that actually have nothing whatsoever to do with the game. For what it's worth I disagree with GML in this instance. When I see this behavior on the road it infuriates me and in my opinion it should lead to a ban.
However it has nothing to do with the club or it's supporters so it seems slightly sad to see the opposing fans swarming all over the forum full of mock indignation. The reality is it's simple point scoring no different to that which went on over Raynor and Cockayne to name but two. |

Changing a CD's not a criminal offence though, and that's for a reason. The fact is Hudgell has previous convictions for motoring offences and runs a firm that bankrolls Rovers out of gaining compensation for victims of them. Yet you still just give an "it could happen to anyone" style shrug of the shoulders. I assume you would have been similarly apologetic if it had been James Rule who'd been convicted with "previous"? |

Where do you draw the line between what is offensive and what is not? I daresay the families of a victim of an RTA whose driver was using a mobile phone would have a different opinion on that to GML. I, personally, find any flippant disregard of the trust placed in the people who drive 2 tons of lethal weapon by those drivers themselves offensive. Be it by deliberately speeding, drinking, using your phone or any other flouting of the driving laws in force to protect us all.

Well ive never been done for speeding and never had a point on my licence and never been involved in an RTA so stop being so over dramatic.
