He doesn't have the work rate for a loose forward. he'll slip into obscurity when you release him when his current contract ends.

Th standard of the International team has suffered because of the use of past it overseas players from Australian coming over here and preventing a local lad from developing in a team. The RFL are being pro active and reducing the number of overseas imports so that now clubs should only be looking at signing International players who add quality to the side.
The amount of youngsters coming into the game and getting a chance is a positive . |

Like i said in my post earlier, weve got/had some very average/poor personnel on our roster.
The quality aint what it used to be and that wasnt overly great over here.
IMO the competition is bordering on the mediocre, even the play off games were boring with very little intensity.

Each squad has had about 25 players, at least 15 of which qualify for England multiply that by 12(which until this season was the norm), that's 150 players, ample enough "talent". |

Disagree , if you bring over an expensive import you are more likely to play that person even if injured . Houghton would get more of a chance at Hull if Berrigan wasn't in the squad and would develop a lot quicker .Let's face it Berrigan has not exactly pulled any trees up as he. |

Is this the Houghton that played 24 SL games this season and 23 last season? For someone that turned 21 last week, I'd say that's not too shabby in terms of giving a young player opportunities. |

If you count the 20 minutes each half he disappears maybe so!
Not a bitter comment either he did it when he played for us, just had better players around him at the time to pick up the pieces when he went into hiding. |
