He's a year old so maybe it won't be such a problem but I would rather see someone with a few more years under their belt to steer us around the park.

After Abdul jumped ship from our academy to move to Hull, I wouldnt be too quick to want to see him return to us even if it's only for a year.

Stood next to Abdul on Thursday evening and he is a big lad, no sign of the fat some mocked him for.

He actually made his debut for Hull FC in March 2013 when he was 17. Whether he'd made the right choice is still open for discussion.

If he can't crack through to a regular first team place, then wouldn't that of been the wrong choice of club to sign for? After all, if he stayed put, he'd of had more game time with us by now.

He's at best a middle 8s standard player and he would most probably provide most utility to teams with a larger set of forwards - which isn't us (unless there are some big props to follow.)

We are still about seven players short, and that includes plenty of places for an overseas players. So I think between JP and TS that they'll get it right.
We've gone through the last few seasons saying the same things regarding the size of our pack. I'm pretty sure those questions won't be raised again.

Abdul is very talented but his lack of fitness has let him down although he did look to have lost some weight when he played a couple of games at the back end of teh season. I think he'd go well for you next year if he does come to you on loan
