We spent a couple of nights there for our first wedding anniversary. It's lovely, really quite & relaxing & only a short drive from the coast if your looking for somewhere more lively.

Tiles/laminate; i think it depends on the style age of the house. I do like carpet though, not for kitchen or bathroom.

But I do have an irrational dislike of those tiny mosaic tiles (Tesserae) especially blue ones.

I have discovered a new pet hate.

People calling their homes "amusing" names.

"Dunroamin", that kind of thing.

Friend of mine just told me about a house near hi parents called "Tucksumdoin".

I'm going to a house tomorrow called "Menistones" if it's mad of many stones I think I will have to kill them.

Worst of the lot.......when people call their houses a combination of their names.

Being an Aldborough boy, did you ever venture through Marton woods and see "Izzyinn" always made me chuckle.

I don't recall it but I always used to ride my bike and later motor bikes around there.

I live at 'Christmas Cottage' yet its a 3 bedroom semi !!!

Going to Fair again tonight, She loved it.

People have really been getting on my wick these last couple of days, why do they have to be so stupid? I think I'm just going to hibernate until Spring, it's probably safer for everyone.

People are stupid on purpose. To annoy the likes of us because they know we're brilliant.

I am now going to make some sort of cauliflower cheese/macaroni cheese abomination that is all wrong, but I think is going to be b oo t full.

Next doors ginger kids are about, they're quite sweet.

If I hear, "Well, no-one told me I needed to do that", any more this week I'll scream. It's my day off tomorrow so I'm sure I'll be all relaxed & ready for them again by Thursday.

Your cheesy creation sounds nice, I shall be having Tagletelle with sundried tomatoes, mozzarella & red peppers. I may even have a large glass of vino once the tiddlypeeps are in bed.

Oh yeah & theres no such thing as sweet ginger kids.
